Aerangis fastuosa is a species endemic to Madagascar. In the wild this species is found as a twig epiphyte or on branches of small trees within humid, montane forest from 100 to 1500 metres. Inflorescences are short and bear 1-5 flowers. The plant blooms during the winter and has a strong and pleasing scent at dusk.
This plant is flowering size. Grow Aerangis fastuosa on a mount, in a pot, in dense shade, never in bright light and keep it slightly and evenly moist all year. This species does not like to dehydrate. This plant grows well in a cool to intermediate greenhouse and can be grown indoors if cooler night time temperatures are provided.
