Grow Cattleya fournieri in a pot with plenty of gravel in the media, in very bright light and kept lightly moist year round, the plant itself needs to dry rapidly after watering. The plant flowers during the autumn. This plant grows well in an intermediate greenhouse although likes cooler temperatures in the winter and will grow indoors under suitable conditions.
