Cymbidium qiubeiense is a species endemic to China. In the wild this species is found growing in temperate areas in limestone woodland at elevations between 700 – 1,800 metres. The inflorescences emerge from the newest pseudobulbs and measure 30cmand bear several that measures 5cm across. The plant blooms during the autumn months and the flowers are scented.
This plant is a flowering size plant. Grow Cymbidium qiubeiense in a pot, in bright but moderate light. Grow the plant in a cool greenhouse or outdoors for most of the year and give it a cool and dry winter rest.
