Dracula inaequalis is a species endemic to Ecuador. In the wild this species inhabits mountain cloud forest at elevations of 1,500 - 2,500 metres. The inflorescences are arching to pendent and bear successively opening flowers. The plant blooms during the spring and into early summer.
This plant is flowering size. Grow Dracula inaequalis in a netted pot, in shade, and keep it evenly watered all year. This species likes a cool to intermediate temperatures and will grow indoors if cool night time temperatures are provided.
