Holcoglossum wangii is one of the most sought after species within this genus and is found in China and northern Vietnam. In the wild this species is found growing amongst moss on old gnarled trees at 250-1200 metres. The inflorescences are short and bear 1-5 long lasting flowers. The plant blooms during the autumn.
This plant is flowering size. Grow Holcoglossum wangii on a mount or in a basket (such as Paraphalaenopsis), in bright and indirect light, and keep it evenly watered all year. This species likes intermediate or cool temperatures.
