Dendrochilum cobbianum is a species from the Philippines. In the wild this species grows in mossy and montane forests as a terrestrial, epiphyte or lithophyte at elevations between 1,400 and 2,500 metres. Inflorescences measure 20-45 cm, and bear c50 small flowers that measures about 1-1.4 cm across. Plants usually bloom during the autumn, winter, or spring. The scent of the white flowered clone has the highest potency.

These are flowering size plant and are growing in post. Grow Dendrochilum cobbianum on a mount, in a pot or basket and with a sphagnum moss media mixed with bark or perlite. Give your plant bright light, never direct sunlight and give it a lot of water. We grow our plants sitting in a small amount of water. Plants grow well in an intermediate to cool greenhouse and like night-time temperatures of 11-17 degrees and day temperatures of 22 to 28 degrees. Your plant will like a distinct difference between day and night temperature and cool misty air.
