Coelogyne tenasserimensis is a species from Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam. In the wild this species inhabits seasonal evergreen forests at elevations between 600 - 850 metres. Inflorescences measure 10-15 cm and bear 4-6 flowers that each measure 3 cm across. Plants bloom during the spring or autumn.

This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Coelogyne tenasserimensis in a pot (hanging is best) or a basket with fine bark mixed with moss. Grow plants in moderate light, and never in direct or bright sunlight. The leaves will grow significantly shorter in brighter light. Plants do not like to dry out and need excellent quality water all year. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse and appreciate night-time temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees and daytime temperatures of 25 to 28 degrees. Plants grow well indoors and will flower if given sufficient light and a difference between day and night temperature.
