Habitat and Location:

Radermachera sinica, commonly known as the Chinese Bell Flower Tree, inhabits subtropical regions of China and Taiwan. This evergreen beauty is found in its native habitat, adorning forests and hillsides, and attains 30 metres high in its native habitat.

 

Description and Key Features:

Radermachera sinica, is an elegant plant with glossy, green leaves and maintains small sizes when grown in pots. The flowers are beautiful and are scented, often opening at night and leaving a carpet of petals on the ground during the day.

 

Care Instructions:

This species flourishes in indirect, bright light and well-draining soil. Water it moderately, allowing the top inch of soil to dry between waterings. Plants need to be grown reasonably wet as they deteriorate quickly when allowed to dry. This species likes an intermediate to cool greenhouse or conservatory with night low temperatures of 10-18 degrees and daytime temperatures of 20-28 degrees. This species will happily grow outside from spring until autumn, and it should be grown in a large pot. This low-maintenance plant is perfect for plant enthusiasts of all levels, bringing beauty to your growing area.
