Bulbophyllum odoratissimum is a species from Asia. In the wild this species is an epiphyte growing in evergreen forests at elevations between 800 and 2,500 metres. Inflorescences measure 10 cm and bear 10-20 flowers that each measure 7 mm across. Plant blooms during the summer.
 
This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Bulbophyllum odoratissimum on a mount, or in a pot with a moss and medium/fine bark mix. Grow your plant in moderate light, never in direct sunlight and keep it evenly moist. Grow in an intermediate or warm greenhouse and give it night-time temperatures of 13-19 degrees and daytime temperatures of 25 to 29 degrees. This species likes a difference between day and night temperature. Plants are better suited for a greenhouse but will grow and potentially flower indoors if given the right conditions.
