Brassavola perrinii is from Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, and Bolivia. This species grows at elevations between 1,980 and 2,580 metres. Inflorescences are short, bear 3-6 flowers that each measure 6.5-7.5 cm across. Plants bloom during the spring and summer and are long lasting.

 

This plant is flowering size and is growing on a mount. Please let us know which you would prefer. Grow Brassavola perrinii on a mount or in a pot with a medium grade bark media. However, plants respond much better to be mounted. Grow this species in bright light and give it a lot of water while it is actively growing and reduced during the winter months. Although plants should not dry out completely and certainly not dehydrate. This plant grows well in an intermediate to cool greenhouse and appreciates night-time temperatures of 11-16 degrees and daytime temperatures of 22 to 30 degrees. This species likes a slight difference between day and night temperature and a short winter rest. Grow this species indoors when conditions are suitable.
