Coelogyne lentiginosa is a species from Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam. In the wild this species is an epiphyte in semi deciduous and deciduous forests at elevations below 1,500 metres. Inflorescences bear 4-5 scented flowers that each measure 5 cm across.
This plant is flowering size and is growing in a pot. Grow Coelogyne lentiginosa in a pot with fine bark mixed with moss or on a mount. Grow plants in moderate light, and never in direct or bright sunlight. Plants do not like to dry out and need excellent quality water all year. Plants grow well in an intermediate greenhouse and appreciate night-time temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees and daytime temperatures of 26 to 30 degrees. Plants grow well indoors and will flower if given a difference between day and night temperature and sufficient light.
